Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Professional Real Estate W.L.L. ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal data through this website. We process personal data in accordance with Law No. (13) of 2016 Concerning Personal Data Privacy Protection of the State of Qatar.

Who is responsible for your data

What we collect

We only collect what you give us, plus limited technical information needed to run the site securely.

• Enquiry and contact forms — your name, email address, telephone number, your message, and where you tell us, your preferred contact method and preferred appointment time.
• Job applications — your name, email address, telephone number, covering letter and the CV file you upload. CVs are stored on private storage that is not publicly reachable.
• Property alerts — your email address, the search criteria you chose, and how often you want to hear from us.
• Technical information — the page you submitted from, your language preference, any campaign parameters in the link you arrived through, and a one-way cryptographic hash of your IP address. We store the hash rather than the address itself so we can limit abuse of the forms without retaining a direct identifier.

The property price calculator does not store anything. The figures you enter are used to produce an estimate in your browser session and are not recorded against you.

Why we process it, and on what basis

• With your consent — every form carries a tick box, and we only act on your enquiry once you give it. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.
• To respond to you — to answer an enquiry, arrange a viewing, assess a job application, or send the property alerts you asked for.
• To protect the service — to detect and limit automated abuse of our forms.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only with:

• Our hosting provider, which stores the site and its database on our behalf.
• Our email provider, where we need to reply to you or send alerts you subscribed to.
• A public authority, where we are required to disclose by law.

Third-party content on our pages

• Google Maps — where a map is shown on our contact page or in the footer, it is loaded from Google. Google receives your IP address and may set cookies. The map only loads when it scrolls into view.
• Google Fonts — our typefaces load from Google, which receives your IP address in the process. Google Fonts does not set cookies.

We do not use analytics, advertising or social-media tracking on this site.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and valuation records for as long as we need them to serve you and to meet our commercial and legal record-keeping obligations, and then delete or anonymise them. Unsuccessful job applications are kept for a limited period in case a suitable role arises, unless you ask us to remove them sooner. You can unsubscribe from property alerts at any time using the link in every alert email, which removes your subscription.

Where your data is held

Our site and database are hosted with a provider whose infrastructure may be located outside Qatar. Where personal data is transferred outside the State, we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected to the standard required by Law No. (13) of 2016.

Your rights

Under Qatari data protection law you may ask us to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you, and give you a copy;
• correct it where it is inaccurate or incomplete;
• erase it, where we have no continuing lawful reason to keep it;
• stop processing it, or withdraw consent you previously gave;
• object where you believe processing is causing you harm.

Write to info@professional.qa and we will respond. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may raise the matter with the competent authority in the State of Qatar.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection. Uploaded CVs are held on private storage. Access to enquiry and applicant records is limited to staff who need it, through an authenticated system that records who viewed and changed what.

Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy as our services or our obligations change. The date below shows when it was last revised.
